  1. I enjoy how you but just as much detail in your environments, as you do with your people. This gives your sketches more personality.
Just remember to loosening up you characters, your people are too still. Keep in mind that animating is just like acting, so be expressive with your drawing.
A helpful tip when starting out on a sketch is breaking down your subject matter into basic shapes and really focus on the gesture. When making the gesture lose and more expressive will help the drawing conveying thought & feeling to your viewer. I have to always keep those rules fresh in my mind, because I need a lot of practice myself! lol Keep up the good work.

  2. Ivan,
The person reading the paper feels like the strongest drawing, personally. The gesture is relaxed and convincing - all the way down to the placement of the fingers. See how the display of limited information can suggest enough in a drawing to allow the viewer to fill in the rest ?
Well done. In the other drawings, the subjects are either too far away or don't possess enough interest in their pose. Always try to find a pose that will engage you in creating weight shift, while possessing a dynamic silhouette.
