Holy crap, your last two images are truly stunning! Your hummingbird.... not as much. The proportions are off and they arnt all obviously a hummingbird, especially the one in the bottom left corner.that one looks like it might be a eagle or seagull.
The eagle one is STUNNING! wow the proportions and movement are exceptional. And the proportions in the blue jay are really like. I like the one in the bottom left corner the most! =]
I LOVE the last 2! The eagle looks great but add more texture to the wings so we can see the different feathers...the bottom one also looks great. I like the different views :)
Ivan, I like the cardinal the best here. The lines are fluid enough but still descriptive. I think the humming bird and eagle get a little bogged down with detail.Remember that a couple indications of feathers and a contour that doesn't dip in so deep to describe the wing feathers will read as feathers and not get so 'hair'-like.
